They also have a 5/$15 WB Action Sale on Fandango/Vudu that has some of same movies but also others that are not on the FanFlix sale and vice versa:

I always wondered if getting package deal from Fandango if movies avail in 4k will show up as such in library.

The Fandango 5/$15 sale is limited to HD movies only. Even if the movies are in 4k, UHD, their offer is limited to HD. Still a decent deal, but kinda deceptive when you click on the movie description you see it in 4k, and they only sell you the HD version.

Thanks OP, really only wanted The Fugitive, which I eventually found on sale for $5 on Amazon Prime.

there is a pinned post/comment at Reddit.com/r/Vudu that talks about which ones will get auto upgraded to 4k (look for the comment from Dynamic Eyebrow). Certain studios will do it while others won't. I've had success with a bunch of these kind of deals getting auto upgraded if you follow the movies in the excel sheet in the post.Just know if they are MA, that they will stay HD in all the other ones besides Vudango, because they are upgraded after the initial purchase.
