I am new to Packout. I know it's very specific to each user but can you give an example combination of boxes to make a good starter set for $300 with the free vacuum? For homeowner/DIY not a tradesman.

It depends on what you need.
I am an industrial trades guy and I use a box for specific type of things. It helps with organization. I use the 3D printer for the really small items (tags and chain connectors), to make inserts for the little red boxes. Sometimes I remove the red boxes all together for non standard objects.

same question here. I have a bunch of disorganized tubs and bins for electrical projects plumbing projects, woodworking projects, home shit, drone and electronic stuff, etc. the backpack looks enticing or a toolbox so I could load up from my semi organized garage what I think I'll need and head tot he part of my house/friends place with the necessary equipment and avoid running back and forth 500 times. Not sure if there are "essential" pack out pieces or just buy random bits of kit until they think they have enough

For home use, a rolling tool chest is much more practical than packouts. This is coming from someone who has packouts, ridgid pro gear, tool chests, and veto pro pacs. I'd wait for a sale on a Husky rolling tool chest, unless you really want to packout vacuum lol.

Buy Dolly, drawers and crates everything else is difficult to access.

I did some research and it seems like the popular starter set is the Rolling Toolbox plus Large Toolbox plus Medium Toolbox. But people say that stacking the boxes makes accessing tools hard so they recommend drawers. You can get two drawer or three drawer options. So maybe rolling toolbox plus three drawer plus large toolbox plus two compact organizers for almost exactly $500. I use M12 and think I don't want to get the vacuum and have to be stuck with a single M18 battery.

Honestly - any drawer set with a dolly. Best thing for homeowners.
