Yeah, specially at almost half the price. If don't do any gaming or need any windows/linux specific software or the 64gb ram, the base mac mini is currently the best deal in computing currently, a nobrainer.

Acemagic like most of these other chinese minipc makers have embedded backdoors that are unremovable even with firmware/BIOS updates. You get what you pay for unfortunately.

Except in this case, Acemagic was one of the mini PC makers with a worm pre-installed in some shipped units. Not all of the Chinese brands have it, but I'd stay away from Acemagic in particular.

All you need to do is wipe the drive and do a fresh install of windows after downloading it from Microsoft. The windows key is linked to the hardware so it will activate windows automatically.
