I have two of these and they're fine for zip zaps but you do like two edge profiles with a router and they're half dead. Metabo hpt are great tools tho. The 2a's are just wimpy, just like every other 2a battery except the power stack dewalt ones.

It's nice that they're small and light, it goes along with MHPT tools in general being small and light. I did a project recently with these and the impact driver and brad nailer and had no issues with battery life, but if you've used an 18v 2ah battery you know what you're getting, I'd use bigger (or corded) for a sander or router.
Said this before, it's nice that they're cheap but $50 for two vs the sub-100$ drill kit or the $130 drill/driver kit that both have two batteries, is a tough sale. MHPT kits tend to run cheap and you'll end up with 2ah batteries coming out your ears.
