So probably a decent deal.
No, I think he's looking for the other kind of comments, comments about the brand nameā¦
It's been awhile since I used the Logitech and the Thrustmaster so I'm not going to remember the little details on why the Logitech is bad. But it centers around how the force feedback motor works. When you're put in a semi-rough environment like the offroading in Dirt or Forza Horizon, the feedback is kind of slow and doesn't feel right at all. You're going to easily lose control even when the conditions aren't crazy hard. Again, it's been too long so it's hard to think of very specific examples of how the wheel feels in specific situations. But I do remember the vibes. And I do remember that the Thrustmaster felt much better and allowed me to drive much faster and much more aggressively.

edit: sorry I didn't realize this is perhaps a better wheel than the logitechs. Still might be good advice if you are pinching pennies.
As someone who grew up driving stick and still does sometimes, having a set without a clutch would only be a stopgap
The Thrustmaster won't feel super premium. But it feels good in racing games and feels fairly precise.
Now for people new to wheels, you do have to tweak them. You have to tweak them for every game. Settings for Forza Horizon won't match settings for Dirt. Just spend half hour, hour getting the wheel to feel correct. If you're not of driving age yet, then it'll be harder to know but the rest of us, you know how steering is supposed to feel.
