Good cable, I've been using this exact one for a few months now. Twists, knots but not loss of charge or fraying. The C-USB adapter can get pretty hot tho

Iirc my Samsung S24 Ultra rejected this cable. At the 10ft length, a LOT of these cables got it wrong and had similar outcomes. The Anker deal for the 240W cable is vastly superior to this and one my phone actually works well with.

High capacity angled cables are always a gamble. The PD spec didn't really have that in mind when it was designed.

This cable and manufacturer didn't work out for my use case. The adapter ruined any fast charging that is normally done with other adapters. The cable alone was not a problem but I only had it long enough for me to return after finding the adapter was bad. I tried the adapter on other cables of the same legnth and verified it was the problem. I would suggest to buy the JSAUX brand instead or any other cables that fully work and don't loose functionality.

I hope this helps for anybody that is in need of USB cables.

Got 3x of these, bought a year and a half ago via a similar offer.
Regularly use them to charge dell and lenovo laptops, multiple samsung devices, through various usbc chargers, etc.
These are the only cables that will reliably charge and communicate my devices without issues whatsoever.
Combining this cable with a particular charger I have displays "super fast charging 2.0" on my S24U, so luckily no issues there.

Btw my S24U still showed it as Super charging 2.0 even with the bad cables. It was only when I stuck a meter on the charger itself that I saw the repeated drops to 0W, and then a repeated renegotiation attempts (endlessly in a loop).

Bought a 2 pack 2 years ago. Both now dead. Eventually they'll lose "fast charging" capability then just randomly die. I held on to the usb adapters they came with. Those are still working and useful at times.

There is no magic, folks. There are few important characteristics that must be listed along with the cable.

- What are the conductors made from? Pure copper, CCA or unlisted? Bail out if not a pure copper.

- What is the wire gauge (AWG)? Bail out if unlisted. Bail out if (roughly) higher then 20AWG for 10' or 22AWG for 6'or shorter.

Pure copper nowadays costs a lot, you won't be able to find a cheap cable (less than $20-25) with the characteristics above. Unless the store goes out of business with 80-90% sale. This rarely happens, and usually runs out of stock quickly when its 50% off, way before it reaches 80-90%.

Don't complain if your phone is not charging properly, when you got some cheap and thin CCA cable - you've been warned.

Wonder if this is good enough for Oculus quest 2 and eventually 3 when I upgrade.

Dude, it's a $6 cable. Calm down.
