Don't do it. These are adorable but useless if you actually want to eat within any kind of timeframe. If you're just making these to freeze (ie - making your own "eggo" waffles) and have endless time to kill, go for it. But buy 2. Or better yet just buy a real waffle iron for $20 at any store, which will make essentially 4 of these at a time.

These are great for a single person making 1 or 2 waffles for breakfast. I mix my waffle batter in a 1 cup measuring cup and it takes under 10 mins to make waffles for breakfast. Also use it to cook a single egg while I step away and do other morning tasks.

They sell those waffle makers every business motel has? You know the one, pour a shot glass of batter into the waffle maker and flip it when it beeps. Those are pretty cool. Well except if you touch it, then its really really hot. Don't ask how I know.

I know the keto folks love these for making chaffles, which are little waffles made using egg and cheese. Folks will also throw a layer of cheese in these things, then a little pizza sauce, some more cheese and toppings to make no-carb pizza things. Seems quick and easy enough.

I see these at thrift stores constantly. Just means the novelty ends since it's not practical.

Buy the 4 count dash waffle maker, much more efficient and faster. I paid $30 something. The top plastic lid portion separated from steel plate part and dash company was also nice to send a free replacement

Yes! This is nice for a couple.
We make a waffle each. Start eating and have the waffle maker and mix next to us so as we eat the waffle, another one is on the way. 1 egg, tablespoon of shredded cheese and pinch of everything bangle is sooo good.

I guess no one has ever heard of making them before having everyone show up for breakfast and keeping them warm in the oven. I'll knock out 8-10 and then call everyone in for breakfast. But I get that this doesn't work well for on demand waffles but really the big makers aren't the best either. Even with out big one I have to make a bunch ahead and keep them warm.

these things are awesome and can make so much more than just waffles. pick up the Will It Waffle cookbook on eBay for a few bucks and you'll definitely get your money's worth.
