The second photo looks like it's a corded fan, and they did a bad Photoshop job of erasing the cord

Yeah, I have various sizes of the Honeywell fans. Their only shortcoming is that the swivel mechanism tends to break. Noise is subjective, some like white noise while they sleep. My oldest is the HT-800 that I use daily in the summer, it's probably over 10 years old. The ht-900 came out in 2012, so yeah. Target usually clears them out at the end of summer, so that's a good time to stock up.

I'm still leery of buying anything Basics electrical. Too many fires, even including their cables. Maybe they're better now. I find their whole Basics line problematic but that's a different story.

just fyi if you got a 3D printer you can turn this fan into a bed jet that shove the air under your bed blankets.
