Home Depot sells the 6.0 x 2 M18 kit with charger for $299, alone. So this is a really, really, good deal on a discounted battery kit with a "free" D-handle jigsaw. I own this saw, it's one of my favorite tools in the shop.

What blades do you like with yours and what kind of things are you cutting.

Home Depot doesn't put this kit on sale super often (unlike several others, which are on sale seemingly weekly/monthly).

Try a better blade my man. This is a highly regarded jigsaw. If you're struggling with it, then it may be user error or a cheap blade.

Yup, user error or blade type

Spyder blades for cutting projects that need accuracy. In which the wood will be redwood, pine, or cedar.

If cutting down pallets (this thing will tear down pine pallets in a couple minutes) then I'll grab from my large stack of cheapo disposables I've accumulated from yard sales and thrift stores.
