Yep, blowers take a lot of power. I don't have a Greenworks but my generic blower only lasts about 6 minutes.

I have this and bounce between the 2.0 and 4.0 batteries. They both seem to last a long time between charges but I mostly just use them to "sweep" the garage, patio and sidewalks every couple of days.

Is it powerful enough for lite yard work cleanup? And for a small quantity of dry leaves cleanup?

Can we use the Ryobi batteries with these?

I have a Wen 40v blower that came with a 2a battery, it's plenty for cleaning up clippings after a mow (probably get 10 to 15 mins depending on the speed selection), for fall leaves it's not great. I also have the kobalt 40v backpack blower which uses 2 40v4amp batteries. Its a big cumbersome unit, I prefer the wen for its convenient grab and go.

Now that greenworks 80v comes with a 2.5amp and you can opt for an additional 4amp battery for an extra $15 (well worth it). That would give it the same capacity as the Kobalt without the bulk and 4x the capacity of the Wen. I think that blower is a great choice that could handle fall leaves (in a lightly wooded yard). I liked that deal enough to pull the trigger even though I already have too many blowers.

Have it, use it to mainly get grass clippings off the road, sometimes blow the dusting of snow off the sidewalk.

Basically a free tool for the battery cost

I have this. It's not nearly as powerful as gas ones... I'd say only for light duty work. Don't expect to easily blow around big mounds and piles of leaves with the power of a gas unit (especially if they are damp/wet leaves).

UPDATE: Well, this may be a slightly different model but mine is very similar, same voltage.

Yes, good for light duty stuff. The leaves/clippings would really need to be dry or they won't move very easily. It works great for me for after the lawn is mowed too.

If it's up currently as of 6/13 there's a code BIRTHDAY today only (6/13) to get 21% off!

EDIT: Realized the listing already mentions this. Curious how good this blower actually is...

Looks a bit wimpy 150 MPH / 135 CFM

Home Depot is giving this one away if you buy a battery and charger and I already have 10 Ryobi batteries so running out would not be an issue. Less MPH but more CFM? Guessing they do about the same job.

***Just looked at my plug in blower and it is 150MPH on low mode which doesn't move much of anything and 250 on HIGH which is also a little lacking.

passing on both

Yeah this is not very powerful at all, use it to blow stuff off a 14x28 patio; leaves and other stuff. That and maybe a quick sweep of the driveway and that's all it can handle. For this purpose, it's lightweight and easy to handle.
