Chase offers Chase Freedom Cardholders: Bonus Quarterly Category Offer: 5% Back on Gas Station, EV Charging Purchases, Select Live Entertainment and Instacart (up to $1,500 in combined purchases in this quarter's categories) when you Activate the Offer through their Bonus Page Here to see if your Freedom card qualifies. Offer is valid from July 1, 2025 through September 30, 2025. Although the web page link does not currently show this offer, you will be able to see it and activate it once you log in, as I did.

I clicked on benefits and travel link to get to "Rewards", then clicked on "Rewards Activity", and then saw the 5% cash back categories and clicked on "Jul-Sept" and then activated it

Sucks that neither this nor Discover will have Groceries or Restaurants as categories from July thru Sept. Usually one or the other does. Here both will have Gas which us redundant if you have both

A little bit off topic. For those with a Discover card, most utility companies allow you to pay any amount. For example, you can pay $500 for water and $ 1,000 for electricity to receive the full benefits. I'll use Chase for gas only. I don't think there is a way to prepay gas to get the full benefit, or am I wrong?

Does anyone know if the 5% applies to paying at the pump at a convenience store chain gas station like Sheetz or Wawa? I don't know if that charge would code as a gas station or a convenience store.
