I bought one last time, just made another order.
Overall it works fine.

I was on the fence to buy it last time, but the 60v min solar charge input was the deal breaker.

Given the size of the battery, I'd expect most folks would plan on using at least 4 panels to charge, which would get you to 60V pretty quickly unless you found some exceptionally low-voltage panels.

Seems like no pass through. You can't use it while charging. https://www.thesolarlab.com/revie...r-e-review

This might be the reason for hefty discount.

it 60v - 150V in the listing. So support up to 150v max. That is pretty standard for portable that size.
Solar Charging: Max 2000W (60V-150V)

I am not able to find anywhere in the listing. Also, there is no mention of UPS mode switching time. I may be wrong but can't find anywhere.
For the same reason, you can't use it for TOU timings automatically.

If those features were included, it would be a killer deal for this price.

This is a very good deal if used only for backup power with camping or on RV. Not suitable for Home application (at least for me)

I have been looking for power station at this price point and wattage. Most does not seem to support Time of Use timing, meaning to automatically switch over in the evening when rates are lower. Any recommendations? Thanks

Wonder when the new Sodium Ion batteries will hit portable generators. Soon to be in the Model Y Ultra.

I've also been looking into this as well but I targeted use just for AC/Heat. In that context, this would almost do the job (during peak).

If I'm interpreting your question properly, you're just wanting to recharge it during off peak hours? If so, I just use a smart WiFi plug from Kasa. I have a schedule set via their app to turn on/off to charge my batteries between 12am-6am. In my case I have delta Pro's and a delta 2 max with this setting configured. Helps on cloudy days when solar doesn't fill em up

this video (i found it under comments of the solarlab youtube review, fyi) appears to show how to do AC pass-through): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AnceWwwPYY

tl;dr is, you just need to hit the Backup button on the screen to get AC pass-through.

I bought one last time. It failed twice in the same exact way. 2 replacement units sent out in a timely manner, and the customer service is completely trustworthy, but the unit has issue with solar input at the moment. I'm scared to use the solar input on the newest unit. CS says it's likely a firmware issue and recommends using no more than 75 volts of input. When working the unit is great, and at this price it would be a fantastic deal, but I personally wouldn't buy another until the issue is fixed.

Finally back in stock! Missed it last time. In for one, no tax for me.

To me this is the cheapest full featured all-in-one battery pack you can get. They didn't skimp on the battery capacity, inverter power, AC charge capacity, warranty, OR solar charge controller. Usually one or many of these are sacrificed at this price point. This is more for a home than a portable battery. Being able to hook up 2000W of solar to is is huge, it allows someone to use this to run a workshop or small building permanently. Just to get a 3000W inverter + 2000W solar input hybrid inverter will set you back about $500-800 or more, let alone the 3500wh batteries (worth at least $400-500 imo). The rare time where building it yourself is almost certainly more expensive, and of course much more work, than buying it all together, and you get a 10 year warranty (if they live that long). Plus wifi+bluetooth and a 5in touch screen, just wild.

Also you can get 240v out of this if you get two and their adapter.
