$0.67/can is a pretty good deal for name brand. Most are $1/can or more.

Just to compare, Costco's non-sale price Albacore is $2/can and $/per gram of protein about equal to this deal.

Costco Albacore 5.4oz dry weight, 42g protein
Amzn BumbleBee 4oz dry weight, 23g protein

The 48 can is the same price/oz, and I bought it. I drain the water, mix in some olive oil, and it's a good, tasty protein snack.

Maybe I got a bad batch but almost all of mine had some yellowish mushy liquid on the top of each can and draining them was very difficult. Most of the tuna was more mushy than usual. They tasted fine but the texture was off and because they were so hard to drain I probably won't buy them again.

Coupon also works for the pack of 48. With that and subscribe and save, I got a final sales price of $28.21 or 58c a can. Better prices by far than BJs, Costco, Restaurant Depot.Thank you OP!

skipjack tuna is a smaller species of tuna with less mercury. It has a stronger, fishier flavor than albacore. Nobody at my house will eat it since it is so fishy
tasting. It's a preference thing, you may like it

If you're going to compare protein content, then why not compare MERCURY content as well?

Same here. Bought a bunch of skipjack (Wild Planet) once on a deal and none of my kids liked it. I ended up eating a lot of skipjack lol

Hmm, strange. Contact the manufacturer and see if you can get a refund/rebate/free product? I've never had this problem before.
