I'm creating this thread as a place for all of us to chatter after the impending conclusion of the MIMC promotion.
I'd like to discuss ALL of the tobacco contests in one place without worrying about the conversation going slightly off topic.

On the B&M contest, after you win an instant win prize you cant win another, but you should still enter everday for the grand prize, and seeing how you cant win another instant win, you can strategize on where to put your entries. Spread them out over all four grand prizes, keep going on the one youve been doing, or put them in the one with less views(less entries).

My barebones lantern finally shipped, says itll be here monday, sweet.

Got my Garmin Virb X yesterday . ( Thank You Marlboro )

Just wondering what micro SD memory card are other winners using or ordering? I see some pretty good deals on 32 GB and 64 GB cards. I was advised to make sure and get a class 10 card with fast "write" speeds and that not all cards with the same specs are equal . Name brand vs. generic cards ? .

Any other Garmin winners out there with any thoughts or recommendations ?

Just checking in with everybody!!! I hope you are all having a great weekend!! Looks like people are getting their prizes from the contests in a good time. Gosh with Allure they take forever and they have gone to crapville with the prizes. Looks like their main big dollar prize sponsors have pulled out. Smoke on my friends!!!

I bought a SanDisk Extreme Plus 64GB card on sale at Best Buy for 49.99. Some others were cheaper but slower speeds.

I went with a 128GB 128 GB Universal Micro SD HC Flash Memory Card TF Adapter Class 10 for 9 dollars on ebay

I was just going to mention to watch out on those low priced cards on ebay, they arent always what they are supposed to be. Ive bought a card that was supposed to be a class 10 @ 100gb that turned out to be a class 2 @ 20GB. There are lots of bad cards on that site so be careful and see if you can find known companies maybe, like Newegg sell on ebay I think. If youre tech savvy check em out when you get it with one of the software tools that are free and confirm you got what you paid for.
Would suck to think youre catching some great HD video and find out the card was junk and you only caught static and snow.
