also more electronic gizmos to short out in the rain. I made it 20yrs without getting soaked until this year. Downpour didn't seem to hurt the mowers or my BT headphones. I'd watch the weather like a hawk and things are getting weird out there.

I would not recommend this if you live on a wooded lot. I bought the $800 model and it would leave behind tiny twigs whereas my basic gas mower sucks them up and chops them.

Many times when my military discount won't work on an item, I buy a 10% code from eBay or do a quick Google search and find a site that has them. These codes have always worked for me, but I can't guarantee it will work on this. To me, it is always worth the $2-4 to see if I can save $70+ on an item.
I use Slide App [getslide.com]. That gives you instant 5% discount for Lowe's.

The Lowe's credit card also gives 5% discount immediately. I use it on Lowe's sales items where my military discount doesn't work.

this post is a lie.

I now have 2 failed batteries that died at 3.x and 4.x years. There's no support unless you have receipts, and everything is registered.
But what about the turbo force speed glide? That has to compensate somehow for the dead batteries. :-)

Everyone don't forget to go online and register your products! Yes, it takes some time, but once you have an account and get used to their system it is a bit easier. You need to register the mower, battery and charger all separately, and yes you need to upload a copy of the receipt. Once you do you get 5 years from date of purchase on the battery, not the date of manufacture or first use. If there is an issue with the battery they will send you a new one for free.

This is the end of my 5th year with Ego tools and on my first Gen1 2.0Ah battery failed (blinking red light and it wouldn't charge) they sent me a new Gen2 2.5Ah back then the warranty was 3 years and mine was over 2 years old no questions asked. This works for Amazon purchases as well if Amazon is the seller only. Just generate an online invoice and upload it takes 2 minutes.

No they won't help you if you bought your battery used, or off eBay or FBM and not sure why people on here are complaining about that.

I've also learned to appreciate their portal, hopefully I won't need the warranty but it's good to know it's all there. I'm 4 tools deep now, and I keep the batteries in the a/c.

Correct if you purchase the battery alone, but I thought if you purchased a mower with battery when you go to register it online that they were extending the warranty from 3 to 5 years? Perhaps that was a limited time deal.

Anyone that bought this deal with the 7.5Ah can chime in?

most boxes I'm seen for kits say tool warranty is 5 years, and battery is 3.

So here is the breakdown

LM210 Series - 5.9 ft/lb torque

LM213 Series - 7.0 ft/lb torque

LM214 Series - 8.3 ft/lb torque Twin Battery

LM215 Series - 8.3 ft/lb torque
Really wonder how much this matters as the lm213 was first with dual blades and has the lowest rpm 2700. The base lm210 is 2800rpm but only has to spin a single blade

I'm curious to know the particulars.
I saw that on the spec too, and my 1st thought reaction is based around the two blades being heavier would create the ability to have more torque so ego possibly reduced the set rpm to help battery life stay reasonable.
Also curious to know if the LM213 had the same motor as the LM210 but probably the LM215 has a newer improved motor that produces the bump in torque.

This page describes with a ton of detail about weight and torque

Lm210 is brushed and lm213 was the first ego brushless mower.

I have a lm210 and it's fine but have an opportunity to get the lm213 for a steal, just not sure it's worth it

Ok, nice i guess i missed that somewhere in my reading & research.
I just go the LM210 about a month ago.

I'm generally very pleased with everything.
Power wise in a normal grass cutting it 'feels' like it won't be doing enough but,, it simply gets the job done as well as my 10+ year old gas 173cc cub cadet & its 30-ish pounds lighter!
It does auto sense thicker grass and boost the rpms to provide a good cut too,, I sometimes wish I had a manual override (turbo) button like the blower has.
I personally want the LM215 but in no way can I justify that price tag ...

Yes I also wish you could lock the mower in high speed. I have a kobalt 80v previously and thought it ramped up faster and cut better. I think ego went for runtime to gain market share.

The best thing I did was get the high lift blade. It bags way better(mainly for leaves) and mulches well

I just lightly sharpen the blade every few months
