I bought these last time and they are pretty darn good (hard to screw up corn bread tho Big Grin). In for another 9 pack, as there are other cheap options too like the Jiffy 40oz boxes at Sam's for $3, but it is nice having these individual packets for small batches.

which mix has the least amount of salt? I find most of these to be much saltier than store-made ones like from WF or HEB. Thx.

if you bought the dope littlelodge 8" pan and have a countertop oven, making fresh cornbread is silly easy. (although if this wasn't dead i'd probably have bought it anyway)

rough recipe from memory...
2 cups cornmeal
1 tsp baking powder
3+ tbsp bacon grease
1 egg
1.5 cups buttermilk (i actually use powdered buttermilk now and it slays)

~20 minutes tops.
