I have this machine. Its excellent for the price. The grinder can be easily fine tuned to get the perfect grind. Has a pid. Instantly hot. Steam wand works well I use it daily.

II got a Pro (878) in gray for $499 at TJ Maxx, posted it and got hate. Mine didn't come with the portafilter dosing funnel, which may be why our version was sold at Homegoods and TJ Maxx, but they are definitely needed as there is a lot of wasted grind! Is your steam wand spitting water?
