Wasnt this $499 at Homegoods/Marshalls/TJM during holidays? But stock availability was rare, lucky if you found one.

I found one 2-3 weeks back here in the Denver area. Just had to call a few stores.

Not for first timer! The pro gives you more setting to play with. I feel like the Pro is for those who already know what they are doing and need more settings to fine tune their expresso.

The Briesta Express is their entry level machine. Keep in mind 70% of the quality of your expresso came from the origin of the coffee beans and the roasting process. The other 30% is from the machine and your prep work.

Yes, it's great for a beginner. I will have owned one for 5 years this April. It was my first time getting into coffee brewing and espresso bc covid and always was interested before. Mad money saved on milk drinks since I got this.

I'm sorry, Tebobo, but there is nothing advanced on the Barista pro that a newbie couldn't handle. The thermojet heating tech is a MUST for me now. The LCD is a must for me now. Easy grinder steps readout on the display as well as programming custom shots, VERY easy for a new barista.

@hardrock121 feel free to ask any questions regarding this.

What are some comparable models that I should compare this against. I checked the other two baristas and this has more pro features as expected. Also is fully automatic worth it and any in this price range?

Go with the Ninja Luxe Cafe with Barista Assist. It takes guesswork (dialing in) completely out of the equation, makes stunning quality espresso for its price. Speaking as a Beginner, who had to return a Breville Express Impress before I picked a Ninja

I second this. I am a first-timer to espresso brewing (was transitioning from keurig), and I got this PRO a month ago. I am already making decent espressos, coffees, and oat milk lattes. I don't think it's difficult at all. It does take a bit of patience, though, along with a few trials to get used to the process. I honestly enjoy it.

I would go with the Bambino Plus and the DF54. Only bad thing is that grinder is on backorder till the end of March.

Since I got you here. Thoughts on df54 vs df64?

I just noticed your name. That's what my firefighter buddies call me! Lol! Anyway, I'm kind of a novice myself, and from what I've read the DF54 is a very good grinder. It was a good price point for me since I could not see myself paying $400 for a grinder. If price is no object, the df64 is supposed to be the better grinder.
Btw, i did find a site that has the df54 in stock- https://thekitchenbarista.com/col...e-grinders
