Have the same cart. The tires stay aired up just fine 1 1/2 year. Solid tires would kill your ability to take heavy loads off hard paved surfaces with ease. Stick with the pneumatic tires that come with it. (huge plus to the cart, they also help a little with suspension since there is give to them)
If you can't put air in a tire, you probably aren't going to be the type of person who will be using a wheelbarrow anyway.
can't say the same for all my wheelbarrow tires......... WHY THESE ALWAYS FLAT!?!?

This is a really well built cart. Large/strong bolts and nuts, strong welded frame, and nice rolling wheels. In fact, it has a tendency to roll away if you're not careful. Well worth that to have so little added resistance when hauling heavy loads any distance.
I can believe that it would handle 600 lbs, but it's only 4 cubic feet so you'd have to be hauling stone to get that. You could heap something but only so much because of the stability. The entire front axle turns when steering so it can get pretty unstable on anything other than flat ground. That's pretty normal, but when you start to talk about 300 or 400 pounds that this cart can handle easily, tipping over is a real concern. Take it slow and no problem, or course.
The capacity is smaller than you think, but it's probably just right for a city lot. Easy to carry a few bags of soil (or loose soil), tools, pulled weeds, whatever. Plenty of carrying capacity for that. If you need to move yards of material regularly, this doesn't do the trick.
The only real issue with the cart is the dump function. The picture showing the dumped stone is exactly how it works... it doesn't fully clear the bucket. For some reason they designed it so the lip hits the ground and can't go to 90 degrees, let alone past it. It simple doesn't dump very well, and it doesn't lock upright such that you could pull the cart forward a foot to clear the rest. It's really quite in explicable (and if I've missed something, somebody reply please.) I've taken to just lifting the entire thing and rotating it ~135 degrees to get it mostly empty. When hailing any weight, the added weight of the frame doesn't make much difference. But, it makes the dump function (and the added frame weight to support it) pretty pointless.
Still, it's a good product and it seems like it will last a lifetime. I'm not sure about the price. I got it at a steal, but as someone wrote, the camels suggest this current price is just OK if you're able to wait until spring.

But these are indispensable for yard work on a city size lot. Highly recommended.
Pick the one with the yellow handles if you can (see Lowes link above), they release/dump 10x easier. For this one, I would literally just tip the whole cart over because it was easier/faster.

i actually have the larger versions or these, but they're the old style so the dumping mechanism is the same as this one... it's not great, and yeah with heavier loads just knocking it over works best if it's not already slopped downward. been eyeing the yellow handled guys for a while, just can't bring myself to replace something that ain't broken... haha.
