Epiphone Les Paul Custom Limited-Edition Electric Guitar (Silver Burst) $599 + Free shipping at Guitar Center.

I personally own one and it's an amazing guitar. These "Inspired by Gibson" collection models were started in 2020 and are improvements over the previous Epiphone models made in prior years (often had quality issues and inconsistent). Great deal at $599 ($200 off reg price of $799).

Both look great. Would probably grab the white one but just picked up Epi 50s Standard locally for $300. Same pickups I believe and they sound great.

Got this on sale about a year ago. GREAT guitar. Just took off the pick guard and it looks amazing...and more importantly plays great. No QA issues either like the Fender I just got !

Great for Adam Jones wannabees since his Antique Silverburst Epiphone model is a ridiculous $1,300.

i'd say this is a more traditional guitar, very straightforward. the blackback although slightly cheaper has a few more features (coil split, etc) and different neck shape, but the quality can be hit or miss and will likely need to be set up. The Prophecy is more expensive and made with better quality wood and hardware and also features Coil Tap & Coil Split.
hope this helps.

I am a newbie...looks like no longer on sale but how does this sound compare to fender strat or telecaster?
