Other than space considerations, This isn't as good as having the separate tools, correct?

The stand alone M12 Fuel drill is better, but this is on par with the screwdriver and nothing else does the right angle or close quarters driving like this one does. It's an all around great tool (unless you need the features and power of the stand alone drill).

This drill got me into the Milwaukee line of power tools and I love it. It's easier and more satisfying getting into tight spaces and awkward angles with this thing as opposed to forcing it with a standard form drill. If you have a use case that goes beyond this drill's capabilities, you'll probably know it. For household use, this is a great option and my go to drill.

This is by far the most useful tool for an average homeowner. I use it probably 90% of the time even though I have many bigger, stronger tools available. Good for everything from installing cabinet hinges to assembling IKEA furniture.

It's designed to be used one-handed by pulling the trigger with your middle finger. It seems weird at first but once you get used to it you have your other hand free which makes most tasks significantly easier.

I also have the fuel m12 hammer drill. It pretty much just collects dust now.

What is the purpose of that knuckle guard (for lack of a better term) part?

How much torque do u lose from all the various chucks/extensions? Negligible vs the benefit for having a compact quarters capable screw driver? On the fence if this will be my next m12 tool but know I want /need it and have uses for it and will get it eventually..

there's a magnet there to hold bits and screws, but I think it's just there to build a mental association with the Festool version of this tool

Picked up an sds plus because my hammer drill was too slow…

Metal is also annoying to drill through - what do u guys use as your go to for drilling through metal beams /studs and steel posts?

I wish this came with a bigger battery or another tool like some of the past deals… paying $168 is only $10 off the tool only price and not much savings if you are someone who doesn't need the two 2ah batteries and charger…

I've never been in a situation where I didn't have enough power/torque. You usually need those attachments to drill smaller holes or drive screws anyway.

As for drilling concrete, this won't do it. But you probably shouldn't be using small 12v tools in the first place if that's what you usually do.

i've been really trying to convince myself i need one of these... but anything tight where i need a right angle, i just put the right angle adapter in my M12 fuel drill or impact driver.
