Same here! Was about to expire too. Hadn't gotten around to pick up my next project yet.

I have this and the m12 electric screwdriver. At first i absolutely hated the unique design compared to the more standard electric screwdriver, but over time, I find myself grabbing this more often, even for places i don't need the right angle adapter, etc. It's a better design (IMO), it just took some getting used to.

Great price. I got in last September when HD had it for $114 after the 3/8" ratchet hack.

handle guard & fwd/rv switch I cant stand. holding out for bosch flexiclick better design.

bit holder locking collar on milwaukee is better vs bosch. however, the milwaukee offset attachment doesnt have lock only magnetic which is a bummer.

I don't own the Milwaukee but I never understood the purpose of the handle guard. Seems like it adds unnecessary bulk to the tool.

Didn't know the Bosch existed. Now I have to have one. Thanks a lot pal! Big Grin

The guarded handle isn't for protection. There a magnetic bit holder. U can put 2 bits on there. Definitely helpful when working on a ladder or away from your bits if u need different types on a project. I have this drill and use it everyday for work for about the last 3 years and love it. Only thing that's hard to get use to is the reverse button at the top of the drill. But it doesn't make me hate the drill. Just gotta get use to it.

Also is great to be able to stand the tool upright even with the added attachments and bits. I've never really run into a situation where it's been in the way either even though my initial thoughts were that it may be.

the electronics are in there too. not enough room in the handle with its short design

I'm not familiar with the HD hack. I was gifted this tool around 6 months ago, but I would love the battery. Could I do this deal, and return the tool? Any idea on the end cost? TIA
