False. Sonicare handles have an approx 2 week battery life based on brushing 2x a day for 4 min each time. There is zero need for a charging case or to bring a charger if you are traveling for less than two week, which is 99% of most people. (I have a years old 9400 model right now, which is basically the same as the one advertised here except the 9400 comes with more accessories and brushes.

Did you ever reach out to them? I have been sent multiple new ones even after my warranty expired. There support is top notch. Look at the other thread and many others have experienced the same.

Personally I prefer Sonicare over Oral B. I've had both. In fact I currently have an Oral B and will be replacing it with this one. My oral B has worn out and the big problem I have with oral B is the small hole on the brush head towards the brush end. It constantly gets filled with gunk no matter how often I clean it out. I honestly don't even understand the purpose of it being there. Also, all the functions have stopped functioning (to Oral B's credit I have had it for a couple years). Ultimately I really enjoyed my sonicare and miss it, so I ordered this one.

I just rinse it out every use. It's not an issue

100% comes down to personal preference. They are both great. The Sonicare has a traditional manual brush feel while the Oral-B has the spinning wheels. Cost of ownership for either is the same. I've mostly owned Sonicare for the past 30 years. One thing I do like about the new (probably most expensive) Oral-B models is the pressure alarm is on the handle not the app. Sonicare does this in the app which is awkward at best. I stopped using the app within a week of having an app compatible handle.

I guess this one has it on the app. I have the 6500 and it has a pressure sensor and it's in the handle. No Bluetooth or app connectivity.

I'm not sure. Maybe it's the toothpaste I use because I clean it out after every use with hot water and it still gets stuck in there.

Is there really a significant improvement from a 4100 to 9000? I've owned a 4100 for over four years, and have no complaints about it. Recently switched from C3 to A3 brush heads, and they seem to last longer, and clean even better. Not sure if a more expensive brush head will provide any additional advantages.
