Anyone else find shin ramen too spicy? The spice just overpowers everything. The broth is actually very good but you really can't consume it without the heat destroying you.

I can't handle the entire spice packet, so I add a bit of it along with bullion powder. I really like the texture of their packaged noodles.

I'm 48, haven't had ramen since college, bought Shin a couple years ago fro SD post, and can't stop loving the Shin, such a great taste and nice heat…add a slice of American cheese to complement the broth.

I use half the packet. Not as spicy, and less sodium. I prefer the noodles without the broth, so I pour out the broth. You still get a kick from the spice, it's just not as intense. Adding an egg upgrades the experience.
