I own 6-7 of these hoses. I would never buy one again, unless it was going to be kept indoors. They all get sticky after 2-3 years and look horrible.
Hmm I see a bunch of other reviews talking about that stickiness issue. I also came across this concerning review [amazon.com]. I'm gonna pass, thanks for the heads up!
Craftsman rubber hoses from Sears is the best. Mine is like 15 yrs old and still looks new.

Heads up, Walmart also selling the 75' for $33 and the 100' for $42.
Walmart item also labeled "clearance", so maybe Flexzilla coming out with a new improved model? Seems to already be a highly rated hose, so I bought a couple.

Anyone take them up on their lifetime warranty? I have 6-7 super sticky unusable Flexzilla hoses that are 2-4 years old.

I agree. Bought the craftsman a few years ago and still great. A little on the heavier side but we'll worth it.

Mine is probably 15 years old as well and they were really great until this year when two different cracks appeared. They had a lifetime warranty when I purchased - any chance I can still get them replaced?

I have the opposite experience. I live in Austin, Texas and my 100' foot one has never become sticky. It has never kinked once either, and this thing is out in the sun/heat all day long. I am going on year 4 with it.

I am not discounting your experience btw….just saying mine is different.

Can anyone with experience using these on something like a Suncast wheeled hose reel cart share their thoughts?
I've never used these types of hoses before. Thanks in advance.

Unreal. I have at least 4 of these hoses with me at home. And 2 at a rental and 2-3 at parents house. The only 1 that doesn't have issues is the one we leave underneath the raised deck, its still fine. The rest are a sticky mess, you can't even touch them without having to spend minutes washing your hands. I have at least 3 of the yellow ones and 4 of the brown ones.
