I will say, I just experienced my first direct dealings with Samsung to purchase an S9 ultra. I've been holding out since the s8 ultra was announced and finally hit my mark with some weird pricing through their app that made the 512gb s9 ultra under $800.

After 12 mysteriously cancelled purchases in a row, 6 or 7 chat conversations with "customer service" agents who refused to answer any questions or provide any service other than aggressively push for me to agree to purchase a cart they "built" with "great deals" where I couldn't even see the price.... 3 phone calls where I sat on hold (even though they called ME) for 20 minutes just to have a machine hang up on me... and several pending charges on my credit card that are taking an awfully long time to go away:

I finally managed to give them my money. And honestly I want to return it just from the experience of trying to buy it.

Considering that all this was the experience of trying to GIVE them money, I can only imagine what it would be like if I was trying to get my money back.
Will this drop anymore for Black Friday?
Was wanting this but I hear Samsung customer service is trash

This is a second gen oled panel and the one without all of Samsungs poorly implemented smart features! I've got the model that one and love the size and colors for gaming.

Thanks for highlighting this. This is actually a reason I would not get the monitor. I have the Neo G7 43" and 32" G65B. I disagree that the smart features are not great and I'd rather have them than not. I spent a lot of time in my home office and the ability to switch quickly to any of my favorite content is amazing.
The one with the smart features has consistently been $1099 for the last couple of weeks. It's very possible that one drops to $999 during black friday as well. It's the G95SC.

Good call. The Samsung smart software isn't amazing; I'll give you that. It is easier if you are already in their ecosystem.

Absolute garbage... By far the worst customer support I've ever encountered. Pray you don't have to interact with them.

I haven't had to deal with their support (which I have heard is terrible), but ordering from their store was fine. Customer service built a cart with the extra discount when I got my G95SC and the delivery was fine. But I have heard horror stories about their support, so I'm just crossing my fingers and toes that nothing goes wrong on my monitor.

Pray you never have to return anything. I purchased a tab s8 ultra from them that took 5 separate calls over 3 months to get all of the charge backs to go through. The entire process was a complete nightmare, but apparently I'm a glutton for punishment because I bought this monitor a month ago (hopefully never need a support case).

I have the one up model with the smart features that was on sale for 1100 with the 2 tb samsung 980 nvme that was at BB. It is a fantastic monitor, the colors, refresh right, features, usb -c ports, everything on it is A+ No issues for the month Ive had it so far.

I've had the G95 for a few days now and I'm considering exchanging for this because the smart features are garbage.

The g95sc has the xbox integration as well as the smart apps, if you're interested in cloud streaming. I thought that would be cool and I was curious if that option would help with cloud lag a bit, but I avoided it and bought this model (from this deal) a couple of days ago after I saw that Bixby is apparently still alive and hiding out in that monitor .

The G93SC is nice, and one of the benefits over the non-oled variants is its slim/light form factor. The monitor stand isnt in the way, its super easy to set up (one person really..), and leaves plenty of desk real estate. I've found the side-by-side (PBP) mode works well for two PCs, but it's a hastle in both of my OSs (mac and PC) to fix the resolution back and forth. Not Samsungs fault I think, unless it's supposed to tell connected computers a "new" monitor is attached, etc.

The edu/epp site has either been out of stock or never finished for this model. If you google it, you'll find the myanmar store or something, instead of the US store. And even the samsung site's search is unhelpful, saying it can't find that model. Here is the link if you want to monitor it (not for sale yet): https://www.samsung.com/us/comput...g932snxza/
