That's actually a pro in my book. I nevered need a smart monitor before, don't need it now.
I had the one with smart features and returned it cause they annoyed me. IMO if I wanted the smart features, I'd buy a TV I now have the 32" Alienware 4K OLED and love it.

it's dropping around $10 every 30 minutes. I assume till they clear inventory but who knows.

edit: looks like it's finally steady at $901.71

This G9 G93 has no smart functions if you care about that, that's why it's cheaper than the G95 variant. I wouldn't recommend the smart functions anyways.

Smart menu is dreadful, while gaming in 16:9 mode screen would go black for 3 to 5 seconds every 5 to 20 mins. Amazing looking monitor. Monitor is finicky about cables used, as probably with most 49 inch 240hz monitors(too much bandwidth for cheap long cables). Got it to work with DP cable it came with, albeit 1 meter long. 240hz dp dsc was manageable. The smart menu is dreadful because it is like have 2 menus with settings all over the place and sometimes not as easy to enter into regular menu while in game mode menu. Also, screen went black while attempting to minimize game. Couldn't get it to post the game or windows desktop. Had to restart windows, enter in my password with a blank screen and crtl+shift+windows+B to reset graphics. Then set up all my graphic settings again.

I ordered this last week and went to see it in store to pick up. I was surprised how small it looks vertically. The picture quality was amazing, the color just popped. But I need more vertical space for work, so I cancelled the 49" and ordered the 57" instead.

This 49" is the same as 2x 27" monitors side by side Smilie

Yeah I had 2x32" before. I was also concerned about the burn in risk since I'll be using it for work 8-9 hours a day (outlook, browser, etc). But man that OLED picture quality is so nice.

It's great! You just have to be cautious of possible burn in.
