First, use PC Part Picker to see what's on sale brand new. In the $300–400 range, you could score an RX 6800 right now (https://www.newegg.com/xfx-radeon...6814150886) or wait for an RX 6800 XT on sale. I wouldn't settle for anything older than last gen or with less than 12GB of VRAM: https://pcpartpicker.com/products...548&page=1

You can try Micro Center open-box GPUs, if you have one nearby (https://www.microcenter.com/searc...=pricehigh). Sometimes, they have decent discounts. And they don't mark them as open-box but rather as on sale on the invoice, so easy to register for warranty. (Some, but not all, brands give you trouble with the warranty coverage if you buy an open-box GPU.)

Also, Amazon Warehouse (https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-War...0158976011) open-box GPUs can have significant discounts—look for sold and shipped by Amazon only. But a lot of theirs are PowerColor, which has terrible warranty coverage (only 90 days) for open-box items. But always check the new price for these, as Amazon Warehouse prices don't move concurrently with the market. Deal Forager is a decent, yet not always up-to-date, tool to search for Amazon Warehouse deals: https://dealforager.com/deals?cat...0xt&sort=3

Either way, prices should go down by February 1, after Nvidia and AMD's January GPU releases. Good luck!
Edit: Amazon has just added a $20-off coupon, matching Newegg's price.
*If you have the Prime credit card, you get 5% cash back.

Old comment: Amazon seems to be matching Newegg's prices before the additional promo codes. So, Newegg ends up being cheaper.

And, before anyone chimes in about Newegg being all evil, Amazon is no saint. And Newegg has stepped up its returns policy and customer service since the last exposé by Gamers Nexus etc.
Please, please, please do not trust userbenchmark.com. It is not reliable at all, and it has a very creepy anti-AMD bias. You can read reports all over the internet about it, including from reliable tech media outlets.

Great card. I've enjoyed the 1440p performance.

And we can still read people's current RMA and customer service horror stories on Reddit and Facebook comments.

If the product page states it comes with the game, then it comes with the game. You'll get the game code over email a few days after ordering. Worked fine for me recently.

I want the butchest graphics card for $300-$400 range.

It's the last component of the PC I'm finishing but I don't know how to get great graphics cards for cheap like I get everything else high quality for cheap.

Anyone got a link?

This card is too rich for my blood, though I'd go up to $500 if it was a crazy deal on a $1000 card.

Amazon's customer service trumps just about any other retailer's. But Newegg isn't all that bad either. I haven't read any recent horror stories. Have you?

That open box PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT for $135 at Micro Center looks like a bargain. lol.
Seriously. I bought all the new components of this build there, it's a cool place - but it's a drive.

For AMD, pick between: 6700 XT ($330, was $300 in December) and the 6800 ($400). Ignore 6750 XT unless it's about the 6700 XT price and you have no problem with the higher power consumption.

Maybe wait until the 7600 XT 16 GB ($330) comes out and check reviews. That card should really be $280-300, but it might be closer to the 6700 XT than people expect.
