No shipping or pickup for this combo for me. However, they can deliver it for an extra $79.00. Total bullshit.

Sorry. I see 8 available at my local Lowe's.

This sale price is $10 lower than the November 2023 Frontpage deal.

There are plenty of the kits at my store, but once the free battery is added, it makes the combo unavailable for pickup and shipping. The only way the system will let me order is if I choose the $79 delivery option. In fact, it is this way with all of the combos that include the free 4.0 battery.

Oh, I get it now! Maybe this is a deal to buy in store rather than order online??? Confused

Not sure. I am going to try again tomorrow, in case it's a glitch in their system.

Has anyone been able to order this combo for shipping?

Are these Stanley/craftsman batteries the ones that are interchangeable with black and decker 20v max?

They are not compatible. The only native B&D/Craftsman battery interchange is the B&D Matrix and Craftsman Bolt-On.

That Craftsman line died out around 2016. This current Craftsman line is designated by the "V" in front of the "20" = V20 .

As ten80 said, you're best bet is buying Black and Decker batteries because even if you found a NOS Craftsman, the cells are likely 7 years old or more.

I live in Alaska, most often I can't complete an online order from multiple places because the item contains a hazardous material which red flags the shipping to me.
Not sure if you live in a rural area or an area that has limited delivery options which could be keeping you from ordering.

Edit:
Crap specifically clicked on the question about shipping problems. IDK why it attached to the interchangeable question. :/

You dodged a bullet. These tool designs are like 6 years old. Cordless tool and battery design and technology has come a long way in that time.

Reasons like that right there are enough to avoid tool lines like these, if you plan to keep and grow your tool collection. Happened to me with Black and decker. These have their place, it's a lot of tools for the money, but lack of of any kind of hope for a future support or continued battery production. Know there's a good chance you are buying "disposable" tools that you can use for a few years, or until the batteries fade and there's no new replacements coming to market. Personally it makes sense to invest in kobalt/ridged/ryobi or any other number of value brands that have been around for more than a decade.

Stop using this brand when Lowes refused to honor Craftsman's lifetime warranty on Craftsman hand tools. Since there are only a handful of power tool companies these days, it just came down to a lack of comment by Lowe's to honor the brand and require claims to show a receipt. Who keeps the receipts for the warranty? I even remember them claiming they would honor Sears Craftsman tools but I guess they bailed out on that idea. Sears Craftsman didn't require a receipt. Since my run-in with the receipt Nazis, I encouraged others not to buy Craftsman because they are no longer a worthy company to invest your tool money into. They are just the same Chinese junk at Walmart, and today, they are just copies of other manufacturers. Hell, Home Depot husky tools are even better. If I'm going to buy Chinese. I would invest in Ryobi tools. At least they are upfront about requiring a receipt and registration.
