I bought this about a year ago and am quite happy with it. The saw is not super powerful but works well for some plywood cuts or ripping 2x4s. No issues with the rest of the tools. Not as nice as high end brands but well built and reliable at a good price.

I will say that this sale seems to have been going on almost constantly for over a year so likely there is no need to jump on this if you're not sure about it yet.

I think Stanley Black Decker owns Craftsman who also owns Dewalt? I've seen some reviews online say craftsman tools is almost a glorified dewalt. As for your saw you should get a diablo blade installed on it and a bigger battery. I know lowes had some 4 amp battery for 30 bucks a few weeks ago but you can also pick up some on ebay for around that price or get a 6 amp for 50 or so dollars. I bought this set today because I want to add a few tools from craftsmans line up to do some small work/jobs here and there Smilie

There have only been a few Craftsmans over the years that were the same internals as a DeWalt and these are not them. I expect these to be more along the lines of Porter Cable, another Stanley B&D brand.

Not a bad deal for a DIYer if you need tools right now. Pretty much almost everything you'll need for about $40 per tool. But fyi this has been $10 cheaper and included an extra 4Ah battery so if you don't need tools right now you might want to wait

For the price per tool and batteries this is a no brainer for the average DIY person. Literally this is like the price of 1 Milwaukee. I decided instead of going Milwaukee for my second home I went with this set. The driver doesnt have any setting so its basically trigger controlled. No hammer on the drill. Overall this is a great set for the casual person. Its basically non-US Porter Cable rebranded.
