High refresh rate doesn't matter as much for work, in my opinion. I'd rather use a 4k monitor with 60 Hz refresh than 2k with 144+ Hz (I have one of each in my current set up and use both, but for productivity, there is no difference between 144Hz and 60Hz -- gaming, yes). Real estate via screen resolution is nice to have. Or, get multiple monitors.

Based on reading some reviews, this was about 20 bucks cheaper at some point in the past few months. I'm highly skeptical that this is often at the 'full price' of 349.
Also people report frequent ghosting on blacks. Apparently for the 1 ms response time you need to disable HDR. Lastly, not a huge deal, but reports that it doesn't actually have built in speakers. I almost always use headphones, but sometimes my partner wants to listen to the games I play.

One thing I realized after buying big monitor, if you move your cursor a lot on the screen from top to bottom, it becomes tiring for your hand.
For work, buy the size which is really needed.
VA is great for watching movies and other video content(probably why most budget tv's are VA)
some down sides are space games like stellaris the stars vanish in motion(looking around the maps) due to smear
also if you use darkmode for most things, the white letters can smear against the black background in motion(scrolling).

It doesn't have usbc just display port and hdmi. My asus 15 only has hdmi and USB 4.0.
Do I connect with something like this? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...prod_image
Only getting 143hz via hdmi
