While this is supposed to be a step down from the G95SC, i have read some reviews where they would pay more for it to not have all the Tizen TV software on it, as it makes it really hard to change inputs and other settings. Anyway, looks like a decent deal for people that don't have the Samsung EPP/EDU accounts.

I just returned my G95SC and this was a primary reason why. I also had one finicky pixel, and was uncertain about the size for myself. The smart interface was garbage, as they tend to be.
This is a gaming monitor designed for gaming. You would be better off buying a large flat-screen OLED TV for productivity with the option of gaming. The TVs are cheaper but often have the same specs as the monitors. They are also more likely to have PnP from multiple sources without a large markup. (Useful if you have multiple computers)
I bought the Samsung while my LG 34GP83A was out for repair for a dead pixel. After I returned the Samsung and got my LG back, I bought a used Alienware OLED at the same size, and now I use both ultrawides, stacked.
Been a struggle finding the right heights and angles for it to work. The 49" was too wide, but this is slightly too tall, depending on how I'm sitting. Might get a better chair to make it work.
Love the Alienware's picture, though. And no complaints about its (lack of) software.
Is there a way to split this monitor as if it is two monitors? I have a 34" ultra wide and a 27" 16:9 monitor on the side. That way I can have things pulled up while I'm gaming or watching a video on my UW.
I bought this 2 weeks ago for 1200...does anyone think I have a chance for refund of the difference?
Also... For reference, this monitor is great, I have a 4070 super and every game I play looks amazing and am playing at high to ultra settings. I don't track FPS and go overboard with the stats I just know it looks amazing and runs smooth at the full 5120 * 1440.
