Also, do keep in mind that a realistic sustained output is around 400 lumens. 1200 lumens can only be achieved for less than a minute on turbo mode and it will ramp down to output due to thermal regulation. If you are after pure output in lumens, getting a light with Cree XHP70.3 is a better option but will cost more. This light has very pleasant tint, high CRI, and by dedoming the emitter, you can bring the temperature down to 4200-4500k as well.

I like having the option of tailcaps. One thing that came up with our last gift order was that the recipient could find a magnetic tailcap problematic.

Oh, and I did the research in case anyone else wants it - the tailcap threads are anodized and mechanical lockout should work.

I got this the last time it was Front Page. I love the output. I hate that rubber-covered on/off switch is raised and on the side, making it unsuitable for stuffing in your pocket. It's available in black with battery for $18.04 after coupon code WKZHCODE5. https://wurkkos.com/products/wk03...tsId=10410
BTW... I had read that the 6K color was more pleasing to use outdoors, so I got that variant. I'm glad I did.

See my pics below. It confirms that the tailcap threads are anodized. And very well machined, IMHO.

Looks pretty similar. Biggest difference I see is WK03 is TIR whereas FC11 is a reflector (usually more defined / sharper cutoffs around the hot spot and spill, etc. )

Last time the WK03 got posted, the LED in it was a SST40 and it came in 5000k and 6000k. The 5000k SST40 usually has not pleasant green tint that flashlight snobs like me don't like. The recommendation was to go with 6000k because it would be cooler and not have the greenish tint.

This WK03 comes with Nichia 519a emitter. Entirely different LED. In 5000k, it's very white and there's very few emitters that are as neutral, that's a good thing. I bought one of those WK03 SST40, and I like the size and the price at $11, but this is the light I would have bought then if they had it. Good info on the tailcaps!

Thank you; this high CRI 519a addition to my previous sofirn SC32, that had the sst40 bright and harsh compact flashlight. Also added 4ea pocket clip for my AA flashlights , Clip-BK-TS10, for $1.08 each.

I didn't want to spell this out in case it sounded condescending, but you should try unscrewing the tailcap a bit to disable the switch if you don't want to do the quadruple-click thing (unless the rubber covering is itself the problem - I get that too.)

Of course there are workarounds. I prefer a flashlight with a recesed button so I don't have to use those workarounds.
