Also, do keep in mind that a realistic sustained output is around 400 lumens. 1200 lumens can only be achieved for less than a minute on turbo mode and it will ramp down to output due to thermal regulation. If you are after pure output in lumens, getting a light with Cree XHP70.3 is a better option but will cost more. This light has very pleasant tint, high CRI, and by dedoming the emitter, you can bring the temperature down to 4200-4500k as well.

I didn't want to spell this out in case it sounded condescending, but you should try unscrewing the tailcap a bit to disable the switch if you don't want to do the quadruple-click thing (unless the rubber covering is itself the problem - I get that too.)

BTW... I had read that the 6K color was more pleasing to use outdoors, so I got that variant. I'm glad I did.


See my pics below. It confirms that the tailcap threads are anodized. And very well machined, IMHO.
There's a sofirn sc18 that you can lock it out so when you put it in your pocket. It has a simple click on click off interface. It remembers last used setting. Can also go into strobe and other things from it being off. Its my most used hand light at work.

I own every Sofirn and Wurkkos flashlight put out the last few years. The only model without an anodized tube at the tailcap is the SP60.
