Nice discount but for my money I'd grab a Pulsar X2 instead. Lighter, same battery life, and better software experience imo

But all your hand grease and oil would make your old one even more shinier.

This isn't that good of a deal at $100 from ebay. On the other hand, Best buy is still offering their "earth day" logitech recycling promotion. By bringing in any used pc or gaming accessory to be recycled in store (accessory can be from any brand in any condition) you receive a 20% off coupon to be used in the purchase of logitech mice, keyboards, webcams, and headsets (coupon valid for use in store or online). The details can be found here, makes sure to read the fine print: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logi...80616911.c

At $80 from best buy, after recycling any old piece of junk accessory you have lying around, this mouse is a pretty good deal. It's important to note that this is the old version of the pro x superlight, meaning it has a micro usb port rather than usb-c, and it has mechanical switches rather than optical switches. That means it is at risk of developing the infamous double click issue, though it appears to be less prevalent with this model compared to older logitech mice.

Overall, this is an extremely well regarded mouse, and most reviewers consistently rate it as one of the best options for fps gaming. It's been on sale at ~$80 a couple of times already, including even before the new version the pro x superlight 2 came out. The newer version is a moderate upgrade, but this version is still an excellent mouse assuming you get it at a good price. As it has relatively few buttons this mouse is most suited for fps gaming, individuals who play mmo or other games where a large number of mouse buttons are beneficial should look elsewhere. There have been some reports of scroll wheel issues with this mouse, though I've also seen reviews describing easy mods to solve those issues should they arise. Here's a link to the rtings review of this mouse: https://www.rtings.com/mouse/revi...superlight

At $100 I'd say this mouse is just an ok value, especially considering the pro x superlight 2 goes on sale for ~$137. If you get the best buy 20% off coupon, this mouse at $80 is probably currently one of the best value mid to high end options for fps gaming. It's worth noting that this mouse occasionally goes on sale for $60 refurbished, so if you're willing to purchase refurbished this deal isn't as compelling. This mouse has been $80 several times in the past, so if you're willing to wait it may eventually drop further, but this is still a decent deal.

I don't think it's the oil and grease he is complaining about. The old one is just too sticky now.

is that combineable with their memorial day sale though? I'm not sure if that falls under the classification of "other coupons and offers"

I own 3 of these exact models with the microUSB port. That port isn't an issue, the scroll wheel starts skipping after about 3-6mos for all 3 of them which makes most gaming extremely annoying since the wheel is a commonly used switch for the vast majority of games. My previous 3 Logitech mouses (all were G903) all had double-click issues with Mouse1 button after 7-10mos of daily use but I haven't had that issue with any of these yet, and 2 of these are more than 1 year old now and all 3 of them are used a lot every day.

If you want a basic solid gaming mouse the (wired) G203 still goes on sale for $15-$20 every now and then

He wrote an article with chatgpt by putting in a summary and the computer added fluff. I took the article back to chatgpt to remove the fluff and give me a summary.

All we are doing is make computers do more work.
