The pro x superlight 2 (magenta) has gone on sale at $80 from best buy twice already and is a far better value, I'd wait for a sale of a similar caliber to return: https://slickdeals.net/f/18018360-logitech-g-pro-x-superlight-2-lightspeed-wireless-mouse-magenta-80-free-shipping

The only reason to consider this deal at all is that the old superlight (the one in this deal) has the best buy logitech recycling 20% banner, meaning the 20% coupon should be pretty much guaranteed to work, as opposed to the superlight 2 deals where it was ymmv due to needing a rep to manually apply the discount. Details on the best buy recycling promotion can be found here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logi...80616911.c

At $64 (20% off $80) from best buy after recycling an old junk accessory, this is an acceptable deal if you absolutely despise the magenta color of the previous superlight 2 deals. I wouldn't even consider this mouse at $80.

Honest question, is this mouse not any better than MS Master 2s or 3s?

I'm looking for one and I'm disappointed that the 3s can't be had for cheaper at $85 or something. Currently it's only $5 off. I do have 20% off coupon but just not too happy for $94.

I bought this several years ago and after a year or so it developed this horrible double clicking issue on one of the side buttons. Has newer batches fixed this issue? only then would I buy.

The original superlight (the one in this deal) uses superior mechanical switches compared to the older g pro, however it nonetheless still uses mechanical switches and is thus susceptible to the double click issues. It's successor, the superlight 2, uses hybrid mechanical-optical switches, and to the best of my knowledge doesn't have the double click issues.

The logitech mx master 3s is designed primarily for productivity, while the pro x superlight is primarily designed for fps gaming, it's an apples to oranges comparison.
Here're the side by side rtings reviews: https://www.rtings.com/mouse/tool...0261/33318

If you do any gaming the pro x superlight is vastly superior, if you're only doing office work the mx master 3s is a better option.

Yes productivity is what I aim for. I have zero interest in gaming pc in fact it is not a convenient hobby for me to have.

Now last question. Is the 2s any better than 3s? The only I require is a usb dongle for work.

Depends on what your use case is. For office/productivity Master 2 or 3 would be better due to the extra buttons that you can map to various shortcuts, and the hyper-scroll, which I cannot live without since I work with long documents. Gaming wise obvious Pro X would have a the upper hand with the better sensor and imo better click feel.

I went through three of these mouse as all three developed scrolling issues.

Logitech knows of this problem since they approve two warranty replacement without asking too much questions.

I got the magenta last time it was on sale for $80. Very happy with it so far

Nothing beats the master for big hands. Amazing there's practically no competition. The gaming mouse are all much slimmer. I used to game (not competitive) and still used the master series. How folks use magic mouse is beyond me - it's downright painful

I've always just used the gpro wireless.. it sucks that they don't last much past 2 or 3 years if you're a gamer, but there's nothing better imo.
I'm undecided on these superlight ones.. I love the shape but what is the benefit to a lighter mouse? I do well enough with the "regular" weight G pro.

I know it sound ridiculous but have you tried turning off your mouse and rubbing your scroll wheel (upside down) a bunch of times on paper
