All data can be stored online in a cloud server database system in the US with decent a monthly subscription fee.

I cannot find anywhere if this camera REQUIRES a subscription to use.. there's microSD storage so I would think not, but Blink does microSD and still requires a sub.

Page Q/A states "The camera requires a subscription for cloud storage, but it can still function without one. Monthly fees start at $3.99 for 7 days of storage."

Bought two, so I could set up a set of 4 cameras for $100 -- replaced old Arlos.
Not sure why this isn't getting more visibility.. Let's hope they don't stop working or fall apart over the next few months but I was able to hook up all 4 cameras to the same base, range seems decent, local storage is intuitive, all around not a bad setup.

Just ordered. Don't really need new cameras but I have one of LaView's light bulb cameras and it works pretty well. Since I'm already invested in their ecosystem a little, I decided to bite on this deal.

I had looked at Eufy's similar offering in the past but just didn't have a need to justify the higher price. $50 for 2 battery powered cams and base station is a different story.

These work fine without the cloud. Anyone know how to access the SD card without pulling it out? Wanted to format it as an experiment.
