This is an ad. Not a good price nor a good product. Move along.

If you look at the price history, they raised the price 48 hours before to discount it. This has been the "best" price for 119/120 days.

Damn. Good shout. Was getting ready to buy since the 30w would charge a MacBook Air.

Now I question it. Probably won't buy

It's really getting hard to trust all of these deals in Slickdeals. I feel like I need to do research to make sure that the deal is an actual good deal

Is the 20k for $28 a better deal?

Have been here for over 10 years. Every deal was slicker before 'everyone' knew about SlickDeals. The secret got out and the fun got less fun. Same with Seeking Alpha for stock analysis. Just... diluted nowadays.

Or maybe Im just getting old. Meh.

Not really diggin all these power packs with the permanent cable sticking out, even if it is a USB-C cable. Just cant get past the thought of it getting ripped out or otherwise being in the way.

Still, it's much more convenient having the cable attached and you also get 2 additional ports even if the attached cable breaks.

No, it makes sense. There was a time good deals were posted and you could take your time and think about your purchase.

Now the slickest of deals are price mistakes that you have to pounce on during a 15 min window at 12:00 am Monday morning... Looking at you Western Digital.

This. It's literally no different from there usual model with a USB-C output. The attached cord is an added bonus. It can charge via the attached cord as well. Very convenient, especially for my kid or leaving in the car for a back up/emergency
