Sure, soldered RAM means you can't upgrade it later, but here's the thing: most people aren't even pushing the limits of 16GB. For the vast majority, this is more than enough to run everything smoothly. And let's not forget that soldered RAM generally means better power efficiency and stability—something you'd appreciate if you knew what you were talking about.
So, unless you're running a data center or trying to compile the next version of Linux from scratch, 16GB is going to serve you just fine for years. Maybe before you start throwing around terms like 'eWaste,' you should take a hard look at what you actually need versus what you think you need.enough to open chrome and do not much else.
