Both are good and have Casio's Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action II, but 870 is just above the 770, for the polyphony, speakers, resonance simulator, and USB recording. A good write-up can be found here: https://bestdigitalpiano.net/revi...io-px-870/
These are the last keyboards to have the good Casio action. The newer Casio's don't have good action anymore; there's a drastic difference in the pressure required to strike the back of the key vs the front, and black vs white keys, it's just really bad. Hopefully they change it back one day, but they seem to be doubling down that it's fine and accommodates the smaller keybed to fit the keyboard in tighter spaces. I'd rather preserve the great action they already had for a weighted controller rather than bring the keybed depth in by 2 inches, so until they fix I'm only interested in the slighty older ones like these that don't have the action issues.

Was looking at this and the Roland FP-30X. This seems like a good choice at this price.

I've had this for three years. All the kids and adults learn on it and use it daily. I almost want to buy another for my office.

I'm looking around to grab a piano for my kids. I was wondering if this would be significantly different from that Yamaha one on SD listed a while back (think it was like 1350 or something). If anyone wouldn't mind throwing in any information, that would be great!

How can one copy the link so it shows the 749 price when a customer service agent at another company clicks on the a link for this piano?

I want to try to do a pricematch with B&H.

I don't think they will accept the Slickdeals link.

Oh wow - didn't know all this! Good thing I got in! Reviews seem overwhelmingly positive and in the category of 'best value for the $'. We have a real piano but it's several decades old and tuning will most likely be expensive (several keys don't strike unless smashed). Felt like this could be something to learn off of! Glad to get in before they phase it out!

Oh no ... it's not working anymore. Looking at past deals, it may come back again soon. You can always set a price watch / alert!
