If you currently have a 4k 16:9 monitor, you should probably go with one of the 4k OLEDs. The drop in text clarity and real estate will probably hurt too much. If you're on a 1440p monitor, this is a great deal -- especially after cashback -- on a tremendous monitor. I've been using mine for 18 months and it's been perfect, and now I couldn't go back from ultrawide. Now that game support is becoming pretty standard, there's little downside.
Some people do see color fringing on text. I can't see it unless I take a close-up picture of the monitor.
