I bought this the last time it was on sale for $1050. Nice little machine, my only complaint is that it doesn't have a 1440p screen.

I see the open box for 913. So you think that with the Crucial 64Gb DDR5-5600 kit for 159 would make a good deal?

Do you all think it's worth saving money to get this instead of spending more for a Legion 7i with a 4070 gpu?

4070 barely an upgrade from 4060. 50 series will probably release next year and kill 4070 and under. 40 series long in the tooth.

I feel like 4070 will give you more games at 60fps than 4060 for the same resolutions (1080p/1440p). But I understand there's an issue with price to performance and because you only get 8gb of vram.

I'm looking to upgrade my helios 300 12700h/3060 gpu laptop. I don't know if I want to wait for 5000 series with newer games coming out.

Mobile 4060/70 are okay, and still command top dollar a year later sadly. Not a fan of them having 8gb vram, and I assume 5060 will follow suit again.

I feel only 4080 is worth over 1k, due to longevity and more memory. If you can sell your current laptop it'll make more sense to upgrade. I went from 1650 to 4060
