I was given a Pampered Chef one of these many years ago and use it very often. Considering this as a gift. I am sure it must be better than those in the dollar stores. But, who knows?

My wife bought this and was like "gamechanger!"

As the cook of the house...I kinda hate it. If you use it too early, it gets cross contaminated. It can't flip/toss the meat, either. It's really just a worse version of a spatula as far as meat is concerned...

Potatoes, otoh, it can do really well, but only if you like chunky mash. It'll never get them very smooth, no matter how hard you try.
