Just based on a quick search, the average refrigerator / freezer combos use about 1,429 watt hour per 24 hours. Based on that, this should run one for about 16-17 hours. However, these aren't 100% efficient, so I believe it will be more in the 14-15 hour range.

Obviously, if you have a super-efficient appliance, it may last longer. If the goal is 24 hour minimum, then you should look more for the 1500-2000 watt hour capacity.
This is fine, but there was a deal a while ago for the Anker F1500 which is superior to the C1000 in every way for $500.

These batteries are dropping in price right now due to an oversaturated market. The longer you wait the better the deal, so weigh your options if you need something absolutely now or can wait.
Your fridge doesn't run continuously. It will pull 550, or more likely something even lower like 300-400W, for just a little while and then shut off until it needs to run again based on the thermostat. The more often it is opened, the more it will have to run. The math isn't as simple as you make it sound.

Same - haven't seen a lot of discussion on these type of deals.

I think the best deal going right now is the Jackery Explorer v2 stuff... but that's just me. You can get the 1kWh by itself for 459 or with a 200W bifacial panel for 749, both seem like decent deals. The 2kWh just dropped and you can get it for 1599 with two 200W panels. They are very lightweight and seem to be well-built and efficient. You can get better specs for cheaper, but they are brand new items and Jackery seems like a slightly more trusted brand than something like Bluetti, or even Ecoflow or Anker (if for no other reason than Jackery still having a 30 day return window last I checked... most all the other brands are non-returnable).

The Anker Solix C1000 + BP1000 expansion option for $879 will give you 2112Wh.

This front page deal for the Anker SOLIX F2000 from last Prime Day may be helpful. This popular deal from last Prime Day offered these prices as well and has some further discussion.

Ahhh thanks. Didn't see the post and the code.

Thinking of sucking it up or waiting a little more for a bigger system, something like this or the max that's currently $1k, a 2kwh or 3kwh or so and a transfer box on the wall, to power my shedcade for a few hours a day.

That code works on the delta 2 max as well!

Love mine. Was able to get it for $459 a few months back. To me it's the perfect size. Portable, but able to run an 1800 watt Ninja oven, 15 amp table saw or mitre saw without trying. Think it would be good for camping and home emergency to run things like a fridge, gas oven, and blower for gas heater.

These units can really be narrowed down into primary use case for the buyer/user,, portability vs non, lighter and compact vs rolling cooler sized, etc. running a fridge for a day or two vs recharging camping lights and cell phones.

Costs have indeed been plummeting and if you won't be needing a unit immediately, Black Friday / Cyber Monday is just around the corner. That said, there are some pretty good deals so far today.

What is recommended if I want to plug my fridge / freezer in during a power outage and I want it to last say 24 hours until it is restored? I want to get something that will provide that much power but get the lowest price option.
