Just curious, does anybody know if m4 base chip in this MacBook Pro would run a full 5120x1440 - 240Hz external display via usbC-DisplayPort cable ? Maybe m4 pro chip?
As FYI: I know in Apple world this is crazy sh*t when it comes to connecting non-Apple Hw to their systems, but other less expensive windows laptops using the same cable can deliver and M1 Pro chip on the other hand, simply can't, it goes up to 120Hz max.

I see 1550$ at costco for m3 pro base model. Take it if it drop as low as 1400$. Have better multicore & gpu performance than M4, plus additional fan and 2 more GB of RAM

Dang. I already had Apple price match to the $1474 deal last time. They won't do it again 🥲

Edit: I escalated the case and Apple was able to partial refund to $1439 (10% off max is their policy). Good enough for me lol.
