I would imagine this credit limit is not typical for most people who get this card.
$95 annual fee
Citi will be the exclusive partner to American Airlines in 2026 and might be able to transfer TYP to AA.

Can we transfer our points from the double cash card to this one? I have a crap ton of points on that card and would be willing to transfer it all if it means I can get better deals for travel, hotel, or car rentals. I'd imagine it's similar to getting the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and transferring points from the Chase Freedom card?

Long thread.. to clarify.. The bonus 75K cannot be transferred to Airline partners like Virgin? (The Points Guy says the Strata can indeed.. )

So confusing.. the 75K on Virgin is not a bad transfer. I just used 67,500 for a One Way Virgin Upper Class from LHR-LAX.. (of course, + the London tax and fees) Still though.. thats a pretty good deal. I seem to have seen one way tickets in coach around 15K

Is the annual fee $95 charged starting of the year or end of the year? Is there a way to downgrade card to escape first annual fee?

Charged with the first month's bill. You can cancel anytime after that.

I'm on the same boat. They denied me last due to lack of credit utilization.

Haha same. Denies for lack of credit utilization. So am I supposed to use more of my credit line?

This is Citi's way of identifying churners. Actually, quite smart Smilie
