look into rechargeable batteries, we stocked up last black Friday and haven't needed any disposables since, they're great and the price has come down so much on the rechargeables

Are these better than Kirkland ones (which are $14 on sale for the same number of batteries)? The articles comparing them are a few years old now so hoping for some recent insights

Those batteries suck and don't last long at all. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on Lithium or Rechargeable batteries.

These are fine for wall clock and remotes. Problem with rechargeable is they start with a lower voltage (1.2 vs 1.4) and leaks current. For flashlight and stuff they are fine, since they are high drain but for stuff you don't want constantly changing out batteries for, these are fine.

oh, stay the heck away from Duracell, they leaks and will ruin your stuff.

Eneloops or the Ikea brand are gold standard with rechargable. It's all about where the cells are manufactured. Ikea and Eneloops are same factory but Ikea is much cheaper.

I regrettably must agree with this. These batteries will work but they just don't last too long. You will find yourself replacing the batteries far sooner than you did with normal batteries. Yes, they are very cost effective and economical...but just don't last very long. Anyway, for things like TV remotes and such I guess they are fine...but anything that consumes a lot of battery juice like our electric Window Blinds...they go bad very quickly.

I have exclusively used these Amazon basics for everything I can't use rechargeable in for the last 3 or 4 years. I have never had one leak on me, and for the price I am more than satisfied and how long they last in equipment and toys.

In 4 1 to gift to my friends with kids.

I dont buy amazon batteries anymore. I did a head to head comparison with them and energizer in my xbox controller and then my VR controllers and the energizers lasted about 50% longer
