Unfortunately it's $500 more for 32GB version, everything else the same except chassis is white.
It seems like manufacturers don't want to sell the 32GB versions of these (258V vs 256V).

waiting for Yoga 9 / XPS for ultra series 2.
You mean the XPS with the terrible invisible trackpad and crappy touch Fn keys and weird keyboard? THAT XPS? You wanna talk ugly (and dysfunctional) lets talk the XPS. Did I mention overpriced, too?

This laptop looks absolutely gorgeous to me. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

By ugly do you mean because it has more than just usb-c ports?

This is the holy grail of laptop for me. OLED 3k 16:10 14" screen, great battery life, usb-a port, HDMI, less than 2.8 lbs, good build quality.

I am hoping you can get at least 10-12 hours battery life with 120hz and 75% screen brightness on balance CPU setting.

To be fair, it's only $100 more for the 32gb version. It just so happens that this is on sale ($400 off) and the 32gb version is not. So it's Best Buy's fault, not the manufacturer.

You think BB sets all the sale prices? When they take $500 off a laptop you think BB just eats the loss because I'd be surprised if BB makes anywhere close to $500 on the sale of a laptop. I would guess the sales are coordinated with the manufacturer by way of reduced costs or sale rebates to BB. Not to mention, this is a brand new model, in demand, so why would BB have such extreme price-cuts so soon if they set the prices?

In any case, to be fair, if it makes you feel better buying this at $1399 instead of $899 just so you can say the 32GB is $100 more, then that's your choice, but the rest of us would rather pay $899, in which case the 32GB version is $600 more because the 32GB version [bestbuy.com] is never on sale for $100 more.

If it's coordinated with the manufacturer, then it should be this price across multiple retailers like Amazon, not just bb. But regardless, the idea that manufacturers don't want you to buy the 32gb version because it is so much more expensive is silly. It's basic economics. People are buying the 32gb version more than the 16gb at msrp (because it's only $100 more at msrp), so they put the version that is not selling well on discount. Just because it doesn't suit your needs doesn't mean it doesn't suit other people's needs. Like you said, this is a brand new product. Any sale at all is great for consumers. Eventually, they will all go on sale, you just have to wait. It's not Apple, very few people buy these at msrp.

Just FYI, this model is not sold on Amazon (or any major retailer). The ASUS site only lists Best Buy as the place to buy. Could it be a Best Buy exclusive maybe and then Best Buy gets them at a discount to put it on sale (like I said before)? Of course Asus dictates the price to BB. Since it is a BB exclusive. Who in their right mind would spend $600 more to get the 32GB version?
