For walking they are completely fine. The midsoles are made of foam material so it'll be comfortable and sturdy enough for your light runs and walks. Though over time the foam will compress and eventually stop being as soft. The outsole doesn't look so durable so that'll be the first to wear down (like how tire treads wear down over time).

Depending on your use case these could last anywhere from a year to 3 years. For $22 it's a good price for what it is.

Best of luck to you and your health goals

I know nothing about running or walking shoes, or about running or walking, or about actually exercising, because I have been incredibly lazy and healthy, for the vast majority of my adult life. Sadly, I am not joking about this.

With that said, would these running shoes be a reasonably good option, to walk in? I would like to start going for walks at the local park that's near my home, in an effort to get healthy, and lose some weight, and improve my circulation. And for $22, these shoes are a tempting purchase.

If someone would like to share some helpful feedback about these shoes, or some other affordable shoes that would be appropriate for walking, I would really appreciate some helpful replies.

Also, thank you very much, to the OP, for posting this deal on here, for others to see.

Thank you very much, for the thoughtful reply and the helpful feedback. I sincerely appreciate it, my friend.

I think that I might just take a chance and spend the $22 on these things! 🤠😎🥊

Adidas has chosen fashion over performance over the past decade, as more of their shoes are just foam and 3d printed gimmicks rather than their true performance shoes (ultraboost + yeezy). Regular price of $70 is not great for just foam though $22 is a more appropriate price for what you're getting here.

Come back and let us know your progress!

I'd say they're pretty neutral...not amazing looking but certainly not ugly. Hard to go wrong with a pair of black and white shoes with a normal shape...a lot of cheap shoes get posted here that indeed are ugly but I'm just not seeing it here.

For $22 these will get at least 400 miles on my treadmill. At least that has been the case for the last dozen or so from various brands. Some are worn out around 400 even, some even lasted closer to 500. I should start a spreadsheet.

I've had some issues with running shoes in the past being too soft, cuasing my toes to push against the front when i run in them, im worried about how narrow the toe looks on these.

I totally agree with this advice. I have owned 2 pairs of these shoes. I walk 30 plus miles a week. I usually replace my shoes after 300-400 miles. If you don't you are more likely to develop some foot/knee issues. But everyone is different, of course. You cannot go wrong with these at this price.

I just purchased one of these. Previously i went for a pair of cheap adidas shoes (the adidas Men's Racer TR23) for 35$ and i was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable they were. Hoping for the same here but even cheaper. I doubt they are that great for running but if you just need some walking shoes or outdoor shoes for wearing around the neighborhood, probably a great deal.
