If you have a spare junk accessory you're willing to recycle, you might be able to take advantage of the logitech earth day 20% recycling coupon: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logi...80616911
Some people reported success in getting the 20% discount manually applied to the pro x superlight 2 by a rep in store the last time it was on sale, but that's obviously ymmv. The final price if you get the 20% off should be $64.

If you're looking to purchase a high end gaming mouse, and don't need a very high number of programmable buttons for specific game genres, this is an exceptionally good value.

This is more meant for gaming, but yes - I use this as a backup mouse for outdoors.

I got AJAZZ A179 with PAW3395 sensor for $7.87 during 11/11 sale and Kysona M600 $18. Shipping took 9 days to my door from china

The side buttons are far better and because it has hotswappable switches, you can add silents or reduce the noise/feedback on them to your liking. The sensor is theoretically worse (but a 3395/3950 is still top-tier) but the scroll wheel should be more durable. The feet are much thicker and glide way better.
Software will be worse but I normally set and forget so ymmv. It has a dpi/polling rate shift button which makes it a rarity among lighter gaming mice. Weight is a few grams heavier and polling rate is the same if you get the 8K dongle. The benefit is that you get fast charging with a 150-hour battery life on 1000hz which seems accurate. I've been using it for a month since I got it and it's still not dead yet. My white copy hasn't yellowed like my white GPX has either, but only time will tell.
